Our History

The 34th al-Dai al-Mutlaq Syedna Ismail BadruddinRA in Jamnagar – was a recognised business tycoon of his time. His trade was diversified across the country and he managed this scale of business skilfully. It is well known that he used to spend 6 months in his hometown managing his business affairs and devoted the other 6 in the khidmat of the al-Dai al-Mutlaq and the community.

Today Saurashtra which falls under Gujarat State is flourishing in all aspects of trade, infrastructure and industries and the Dawoodi Bohra community plays an important part in that development.
